Golf Course Maintenance - Portfolio The Hong Kong Golf Club Having the opportunity to serve the most elite Club in Asia has truly put me at the pinnacle of my career. Over the past two years, we have methodically implemented programmes, and subtle changes requested by the Courses Committee, that will have a major impact on the three courses and the members for years to come. We currently have three full time highly qualified American Superintendents working with HKGC. We take full responsibility and full control of maintenance, re-construction work and the courses budget. We have also prepared the course to host the Omega Hong Kong Open in 2003 and 2004. “We first approached Tony to help us improve our daily maintenance practices and to introduce the methodology of Quality Golf to ensure that a consistent product could be achieved for our Members to enjoy. Their appointment in July 2003 greatly assisted us with preparations for the hosting of the Omega Hong Kong Open in November. Santiburi Samui Country Club Over the past 5 years, we have worked diligently with the Owner, from the inception of his idea, to build this dramatic course. The true reward is having the opportunity to maintain this creation in order to protect the Owner's investment and also both of our reputations in the industry. To ensure we deliver what is promised, we are now in our 3rd year of a full turn-key maintenance contract. “I have known Tony personally since 1996. Thai Country Club Working successfully for more than a decade, since 1994, with The Peninsula Group is testament to my level of dedication to an Owner and management team who are truly visionary and at the forefront of their profession worldwide. It was most definitely a team effort to create the No.1 golf course in Thailand . Quality Golf is currently renovating all 18 greens with the state-of-the-art TifEagle Bermudagrass. We have also successfully prepared the course to host the Asian Honda Classic in 1997, the Johnnie Walker Super Tour in 1998 and will be honoured to host the Volvo Masters of Asia, the Asian Tour Championship, in 2005. Most of the team have been with us for the 10 years that I have been retained by Thai Country Club.
